clipart's revenge

To be honest, clip art and the randomness of it really have never clicked for me. Art to me seems like something a 3 year old couldn't do. Many things I've seen its a copy paste sort of deal and people arrange it and call it art. I wasn't excited at all to do anything with copy and pasting until i decided to kick it up like 20 notches.

This tropical sunset is a culmination of about 30-40 different images, with each layer having its hue, levels, color adjusted with each one also having different filters, and many different dodge and burn techniques.

They sky alone is of 10 different pictures i blended together. Many things stand out but i wanted it to seem surreal, and intriguing. I could have kept going but i felt it was pretty finished because it just seems to click for me. Although it may not be perfect i think its different and shows how much work i put into it

Very surreal, very impressive, thanks for going beyond!

I dig the colors, it gives it a seriously surreal feeling. The trees are seem a little tooooo blocky, but trees are exceptionally hard to extract. Good job on making all the tones match. Pretty amazing considering how many pictures make this one up.

the colors are amazing and everything goes together very nicely.

the cool colors give it a nice beach feeling and I especially like the figure and how she draws you into the piece.

the water looks very cool, but her splashes from walking look more like sand than water. Other than that, nice blending and manipulation of colors.

seems like the place to be, only kinda south park style.

Neat. The saturation really brings out the piece as a whole. The only thing I would recommend is tray from the "smudge tool" and try to find more crisp images. The beer is too blurry. D:

I agree with all the surrealness being mentioned. The colors are fantastic, and I like the cut-out feel of it.

I like the dream-like quality of this piece. Kind of pyschadelic and blurry but elements of relaity.

This reminds me of a dream i once had. Everything is so blurry but your subject matter is in focus, just like a dream. well done my friend well done.

like the feel of this piece. very surreal; i really like the way you have left things cut-out and a bit choppy. nice color choices, good composition, a lot of hard work obviously went into this.
