Ma femme

I used all the images inside the original and tried to make it my own art work. My goal was to try and make it look as much as the original, but when it didn't come out as anticipated I chose to play around with photoshop and make it more of an "Erin-ma femme original."

another world

M.C. Escher's Another World

My interpretation of another world. I chose to use images from our very own world rather than those of another because i felt that many people don't realize how much there is to see on our very own planet. Sometimes just stopping to look at something you walk by every day can take you somewhere new and exciting

I Wish I Was Weston

Here is my Art History project. I chose to impersonate the photos of Edward Weston, one of the great photographers of this country. He was one of the guys out West with Ansel Adams shooting landscapes. A portion of his body of work was nudes. I had a friend Nichole model for these shots. After the shoots, the exposures were converted to grayscale, tweaked (levels, contrast/brightness, and curves) and then altered (burning/dodging, tattoo removal, taking away some distracting background elements) until I was satisfied. I will post the three originals first and then my impressions.

I thought this looked amazing

the link above will bring you to nikolai Jerabek's portfolio. You should really take a look at the work.

BluBlu

Not really digital art, but still sweet and seems right up the alley of a few students in the class. Click on the sketchbook to get in. The most impressive things were under the video tab on the left. Check out these stop and start wall mural animations. Wild and tripped out.

Motivational Art

When i first started these i wasn't even sure where i was going or what i wanted to do. I hate politics, and find it a very dirty topic to deal with. So nothing came to mind beside negitive thoughts. So i thought what better than to crack a few jokes with motivational posters. Granted, many people have done these but i spent quite a bit of time on these, and i can call them my own.

Povertys ghost

Most Americans don't believe poverty in the U.S. is real, that people everywhere can sit down every night to a meal and not have to worry about when they will eat next.
My project is meant to show the discrepencies between the wealthy and the poor, those who have shelter and those who don't, those who have food and those who must scavage.
